Partnership working

Good communication is vital for Chichester Careline, that is why we have strong working relationships with many agencies and organisations.

Chichester Careline and Arun Lifeline work together to support more than 4,000 customers across both districts.  We are both part of West Sussex Telecare, which is a partnership of all telecare providers in local authorities across the County, helping people live safely and independently in their own home.

We work in partnership on many projects too, for example the West Sussex Carer's emergency alert card scheme.  This is led by Chichester Careline across the whole of West Sussex.

We work with West Sussex Fire and Rescue with home fire safety checks.  Together with the fire service, we introduced the first ever dual linked smoke and pendant alarm in West Sussex.  This alarm not only alerts the resident, but also rings direct to the centre.  The dual link smoke alarm is now standard practice across our partners in the West Sussex Telecare Group, which has helped save many lives.
