A Mobile responder on call 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year.
If you do not have any local contacts and live within 20 miles of Chichester, we have a team of fully trained mobile responders who are available 24 hours a day should you need them.
Though the mobile responders are not an emergency service, they undertake to get to you as quickly as possible. If you have hurt yourself and need assistance getting up, the mobile responders will help you unless they feel there is a need for the emergency services, or that by helping you they may put you or themselves at risk of injury.
The mobile responders are all first aid trained and have undergone the council's checks with the Criminal Records Bureau.
All our mobile responders wear identification badges and they will be happy to produce it on demand.
If you decide you would like to use the Mobile Response service you may be required to have a keysafe fitted, if it is appropriate, making our response to you a little faster. This is where a key to your property is held securely at our Control Centre, so in an emergency we can gain access to your property quickly. However, if it is more appropriate and makes our response to you a little faster, we may require you to have a key safe fitted instead.
